Arrival and Departure

• Check-in: From 15:00 (3 PM) or by prior agreement.

• Check-out: By 12:00 (12 PM) or by prior agreement.

Pets

• Well-behaved pets are welcome by prior arrangement.

Smoking

• Kalevalla Guesthouse is smoke-free indoors.

• Smoking is permitted outdoors at the table near the main entrance, where an ashtray is provided.

Upkeep and Responsible Use

We kindly ask you to treat the house and its furnishings with care. Upon departure, please leave the house in a generally tidy condition:

• Tables cleared.

• Dishes placed in the dishwasher and the cycle started.

• Furniture returned to its original place.

• Trash taken to the designated bins or containers.

• For longer stays, bed linen and towels can be changed once a week by prior agreement.

Fire Safety and Fireplace

As Kalevalla Guesthouse is a wooden building, please be extremely careful with fire.

• The fireplace may only be used with the provided firewood. Before lighting a fire, please open the damper located on the right side.

• Firewood is intended for use in the fireplace only.

• Please use candles only on heat-resistant bases and follow fire safety guidelines.

• Never leave burning candles or oil lamps unattended.

• In case of an accident, please use the fire extinguisher located on the sauna wall.

• In an emergency, follow the evacuation instructions when exiting the building and contact the host immediately.

Sauna

• The sauna stove is prepared for lighting.

• Please use the firewood placed on the sauna wood rack and follow all fire safety rules.

Outdoor Area, Grill, and Campfire

• A grill is available for guests on the terrace – please bring your own charcoal.

• Grilling, making a campfire, or using fireworks is permitted only by prior agreement and in designated areas, following all safety requirements.

Electricity and Equipment

• Please use electricity sparingly.

• Charging electric vehicles is not permitted.

​

Furnishings and Liability

• In case of any damage, please inform us immediately – the cost of damaged furnishings must be compensated.

• Additional cleaning or replacement fees may apply for stains or damage to furniture, carpets, or other inventory.

A small but important note 😊

Please do not leave loose objects, toys, etc., on the lawn – the robotic lawnmower may accidentally damage them.
